Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp green chutney
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup water
- 6 slices (day old) french bread
- 1/4 cup canola oil
- In a medium bowl break the eggs, add salt, green chutney, black pepper, water and and mix well.
- Dip bread in egg mixture, turning to coat both sides evenly.
- Cook bread slices on a lightly greased griddle or a skillet on medium heat until browned on both sides about 2 minutes on each side.
- Serve with fresh fruit.
