Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 3/4 cup milk
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- 1 cup blueberrie
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 3/4 tsp cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
- Cream butter, sugar and lemon juice till light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs, one at a time.
- Shift the flour and baking powder and lemon zest.
- Fold in the flour mixture, alternating with milk.
- Fold ing berries.
- Spoon the mixture into greased 8” square pan.
- Mix brown sugar and cinnamon.
- Sprinkle over top of the batter.
- Bake for 35 to 40 minutes or till the cake is done.(The cake is done, when you insert a bamboo stick in the centre of the cake, comes out clean)
