- Aloo Tika and spiced Chickpeas. (We had it at a wedding in England and I really enjoyed it, so I found this recipe in an Indian Cookbook and I tried it. This was a hit at the party. ) Aloo Tiki is mushed potatoes seasoned with spices and stuffed with peas and spices. It is shallow fried in oil, served with spiced chickpeas and chutney.
